Media Release for the week of June 5, 2009 – June 12, 2009

PROVO TOWNE CENTRE AND GREEN FIBER JOIN FORCES TO RECYCLE FOR HABITAT
The Provo Towne Centre and Green Fiber have joined forces to recycle paper and cardboard with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity of Utah County’s construction efforts. Green Fiber recently delivered four large paper collection containers to the mall site in Provo. Mall stores will be encouraged to save their paper and cardboard and place it in the provided containers.

To encourage in store recycling, the Green Fiber Frog, Habitat staff and community volunteers plan to blitz the mall stores and distribute small paper bins on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Those participating hope the blitz will generate interest from all 90 mall stores.

Community members can also recycle paper for the local Habitat affiliate. Paper can be dropped off at the Provo Towne Centre in the collection bin located in the lower level parking lot near Sears or at the Habitat ReStore at 626 North Freedom Blvd., Provo.

GreenFiber™ is the manufacturer of natural fiber insulation, fire and sound products. The company makes environmentally friendly, safe and efficient insulation from recycled paper. The company also contributes funds to specific community programs for the paper they recycle.

Habitat for Humanity of Utah County is a non-profit, ecumenical organization and is one of more than 2,300 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International.
