Provo Towne Centre Goes "GREEN" for Habitat

The Provo Towne Centre recently joined forces with Green Fiber Insulation to recycle for Habitat with proceeds going to the affiliate's construction efforts. Mall management had four large paper and cardboard recycling bins placed around the mall to encourage store recycling . The mall hopes to expand the program to other GGP malls throughout Utah. To kick off the program with mall stores, Habitat and Green Fiber staff, BYU Chapter and other community volunteers and the Green Fiber Frog, visited all 90 mall stores this past Wednesday to explain the new program and distribute small paper and aluminum collection containers to store managers. The response was very positive!

On a different note, Habitat's "Can Lady" took advantage of the opportunity to kiss the frog in hopes of finding her "Paper Prince!"
