HABITAT NAMED UVU COMMITTED COMMUNITY PARTNER

Habitat for Humanity of Utah County has been selected to receive the Utah Valley University (UVU) Committed Community Partner Award for the affiliate’s work with the UVU Volunteer & Service-Learning Center. The organization was recently recognized at the Utah Campus Compact Annual Statewide Conference by UVU's President Matthew Holland. The Committed Community Partner award recognizes a community agency or individual who has enhanced the Community Partners involvement portion of UVU’s civic engagement/service-learning program, has provided meaningful service and learning opportunities for students, and has had their mission/programs/goals of the agency fulfilled or enhanced by partnering with UVU. Habitat is honored to be recognized for its efforts with UVU, its students, and faculty.
