Habitat staff and volunteers worked during the holiday season to complete a beneficial critical home repair project for a single mother and her six young children in the Santaquin. The family’s basement was flooded during the mud slides a few years ago making the downstairs rooms inhabitable and forcing the large family to live in a very overcrowded upstairs. Because of grant funds through Habitat’s critical home repair program and generous volunteer and staff labor, the family will once again be able to use their downstairs. A huge relief for the hardworking mom and her kids!
