Habitat for Humanity of Utah County received a 2015 Heritage Award from Utah Heritage Foundation on Thursday night for the affiliate’s efforts with the restoration of the George Taylor, Jr. home in downtown Provo. Habitat was honored “for having a vision to not only give a family a quality place to live, but to preserve a significant historic site and architectural landmark by encouraging rehabilitation and sweat equity.” We are grateful for the honor.
