HABITAT, HOME DEPOT HELP LOCAL VETERAN

Habitat for Humanity of Utah County joined Provo and Lindon Home Depot employees to help a local Veteran in need last weekend as part of its Neighborhood Revitalization program. Volunteers from Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate-led volunteer force, and other community members replaced the roof and beautified the back yard for Army Veteran, Jeffrey Ruano, and his family.

Jeffrey and Stephanie Ruano live in downtown Provo and have two children. Jeffrey served in the Army in the early 1990's, serving in Operation Desert Storm, stationed in both Saudi Arabia and Germany. He also served a short time in Haiti. He completed his four years of active service but decided just a few years ago to join again and is currently serving in the Army Reserves.

This beneficial project is being made possible by a Team Depot grant from The Home Depot Foundation. We appreciate Home Depot’s commitment to those that are have or are serving our country.
