National Women Build Week Begins!

Popular blogger, C. Jane Kendrick, and Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers were among more than 25 volunteers to join Habitat for Humanity of Utah County this past Saturday to help build affordable housing in the Orem area in recognition of National Women Build Week. Volunteers helped to kick off the event locally by hanging drywall at a new home currently being built with the Fisiipeau family in Habitat’s Washburn Reams Estates project in Orem. Kendrick and Pastor Logan Wolf from the New Morning Church spoke to volunteers at lunch time. Lunch was sponsored by Five Star BBQ. The local Women Build Week will continue through May 15th with a variety of Utah County women volunteering on two homes at the Orem project. To register or for more information, look online at
