IT IS RAINING PAINT!

Habitat for Humanity of Utah County collected thousands of gallons of useable paint for our Re-Paint paint recycling program at this weekend’s Utah County Household Hazardous Waste Collection event at the Provo Towne Centre. Habitat recycles paint and sells it at our Orem and Spanish Fork ReStores with profit going to our local affordable housing mission. This annual event is always very beneficial and helps us protect the environment, promote reuse, and raise needed funding for our mission. Special thanks to Utah County Health Department for giving Habitat the opportunity to participate again this year and to the great UVU and BYU Habitat Chapter members and Habitat partner families for volunteering their time during the event. Thanks also to Jeff McDonald, LeAnn Hillam, and our Habitat ReStore employees for organizing and managing the massive paint collection.
