Habitat Participates in Neighborhood Pilot Project!

Habitat for Humanity of Utah County was invited to join in unique community pilot project on 500 North in Provo on the late evening of July 28th. The project was aimed to show some forward thinking ideas on how the city can make 500 North safer for pedestrians and bicyclists. Temporary changes were made to the road including buffered bicycle lanes, etc. Habitat provided our Tool Library and tools to help clean the streets and to assist volunteers in painting. The outcome looks amazing and it was our honor to be included in this effort to make Provo more pedestrian and bike friendly. Thank you to Provo Bicycle Committee and Aaron Skabelund for organizing this project.
