Habitat for Humanity of Utah County celebrated and recapped its "magical" fiscal year at our Annual Meeting on Thursday at the Utah Valley Home Builders Association in Orem. In addition to highlighting this past fiscal year’s successes and introducing our "beyond measure" theme, the local Habitat affiliate also showed appreciation to this past year’s Executive Committee and elected our new Executive Team.
Special thanks to Tara Riddle, Sariah Hillam, Eric Bennett, Jeanne Walker, Chuck Irwin, and Kenny Seng for their outstanding efforts over the past year. Due to our upcoming management transition, the same Executive Committee was elected to continue serving for the next several months.
In addition, at the meeting, Habitat also surprised and recognized two of its employees for their dedication to our mission in the community. Construction Assistant, Scotty White, was honored as the Employee of the Year, and Orem ReStore Warehouse Manager, Brian Viall, was selected as the ReStore Employee of the Year. Both are very deserving of this honor. They are hard workers and always go beyond the call of duty in their respective positions.
