Students, faculty, and staff at Utah Valley University and other community members joined Michelle Mariscal and her two children as they cut the ribbon on their new Habitat home this past Tuesday. This is the third Habitat for Humanity home that the University has helped to sponsor. The new three bedroom Habitat home, located at 764 West 600 South, Springville, was framed by UVU Building Construction Students, under the direction of Associate Professor DeWayne Erdmann. In addition to construction, the UVU community also filled the cupboard and decorated rooms in the home, provided a move-in kit, and sponsored February's “No Snow” Indoor 5K to raise money for the project home. Special thanks to Utah Valley University and all those that made this home possible for the Mariscal family.
