Happy Valley Derby Darlins and Pink Crush helped Habitat for Humanity of Utah County roll to a winning touchdown and close out its 2013 National Women Build Week this past Friday at the build site at 1042 North 950 West in Provo. The local female sport teams’ members joined special guest, Noelle Pikus Pace, in the afternoon to hang ceiling drywall at the home being built with the Artanduaga family. The Pink Crush’s Sasquatch Mascot, Harley, was escorted in by a team of Harley riders to start the afternoon build shift with a roar. Special thanks to Timpanagos Harley for sponsoring Pink Crush. During the morning, local female business leaders volunteered their time to get the drywall started. The business women had lunch together sponsored the Utah Valley Chamber and Women Business Network at lunch time. We appreciate Habitat International, Lowe's, Ancestry.com, Pikus Pace, and all that other supporters, sponsors and volunteers that made this amazing week a huge success. Because of all your generous efforts, the Artanduaga family's dream of safe and affordable homeownership is much closer to being a reality.
