Habitat AmeriCorps VISTA Member, Kimberly Harter, worked with AmeriCorps members at Community Action Services and Food Bank to organize a Housing Honk and Wave on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The members made signs and promoted the Utah County Housing First Fund at the Wal-Mart in Springville. This Fund helps local community members in need obtain housing as a fundamental way to build self reliance.
