Members of the Utah Valley University's Lacrosse Team spend their Saturday morning "in the dirt" helping Habitat for Humanity of Utah County get the TyeRay Community Garden in Provo ready for the planting season. The team did a great job "cutting" down all the tall weeds and "clearing" the garden. We appreciate their service and hope that the project helped to "warm them up" for their game later in the day.
The Community Garden is located in Habitat's TyeRay Subdivision at 1063 North 950 West, Provo, and was created in partnership with Habitat, Community Action Services and Food Bank, and Provo Parks and Recreation a few years ago. Planting plots are still available.. Contact David Wright at DWright@CommunityActionUC.org or 801-691-5207 for more information.
