Yesterday, we kicked off the Home Builders Blitz 2017 with EDGE Homes while honoring the 16th anniversary of 9/11 at our job site at 322 South 600 East in Provo. We had a wonderful kickoff celebration which included a beautiful, sunrise flag ceremony by the JROTC members at Independence High School, pledge led by Provo Police Officer, Shawn Parker, National Anthem sung by Brionna Perry, and inspirational remarks and prayers from the Sanabria family, EDGE homes, and Mayor John Curtis. After the groundbreaking ceremony and breakfast from Chick Fil A, Hruska's Kolaches, and Costco, the framers got to work - framing the entire home, being built with Lucy Sanabria and her daughter, in one day. Simply amazing! Can't wait to see what today brings. Special thanks to Flags Poles for a Cause for providing the flag pole and flag for the event.
