Western Metals Recycling provided a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Utah County for every ton of scrap steel and pound of non-ferrous metal that was recycled at their Provo location during Earth Day week in April. The local metal recycled collected 278 gross tons of scrap steel and 58,590 pounds of non-ferrous metal during the week with a donation of $1,520.90 going to the local Habitat affiliate. We appreciate Western Metals support of Habitat's affordable housing mission and its local recycling programs.
