DAY ONE - THE 2010 HOME BUILDERS BLITZ

Habitat for Humanity of Utah County joined the Utah Valley Home Builders Association and the Moreland Family to kickoff the 2010 Home Builders Blitz Build in Springville this morning. The 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom Habitat home, located at 758 South 750 West, is being built in less than a week with help from the Utah Valley Home Builders Association members and will be sold to Dan and Jenalee Moreland and their four small children. Following a very inspiring groundbreaking celebration and a blessing on the home, local contractors and framers spent the rest of the day framing and setting paneled walls and trusses with the help from a very patient crane operator. At the end of a very busy and amazing day, the home is now framed and wrapped in Tyvek with most of its flatwork completed.
