A DAY TO CARE!

1,200 community volunteers representing many local businesses and community organizations participated in the United Way's Day of Caring event this past Wednesday. Volunteers had a nice breakfast at Cougar Stadium and then helped at a number of service projects throughout the valley. Adobe employees joined Habitat for Humanity of Utah County to help frame and put on trusses at Mary Ann Cisneros's new home on 300 South in Provo as part of the annual service activity. Habitat's board member, Val Hale, put on his chef's hat and helped serve breakfast at the event.
