WORKING HARD AT THE COMMUNITY GARDEN!

Volunteers have been working for the past several weeks with Habitat AmeriCorps Member, Celeste Kennard, to get the new TyRay Community Garden ready for its unveiling on August 7. 2014. The community garden, named in memory of longtime Habitat supporters, Ray and Tye Noorda, is being created in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Utah County, Community Action Services and Food Bank, and Provo Parks and Recreation. The garden is located in Habitat’s TyRay Homes Project at 1020 North 950 West, Provo and will include many gardening spots and raised beds where neighborhood and community members can plant a garden for a small fee. The unveiling will take place on August 7th at 6:30 p.m. All interested community members are invited to attend.
