Habitat for Humanity of Utah County celebrated Columbus Day with a large crowd by breaking ground on the second home at the organization’s Washburn Reams Estates Project in at 528 North 1060 West in Orem. The five bedroom home is being built with Sione and Kahea Fisiipeau and their seven children and will be Habitat’s 59th Utah Valley home. This home is being sponsored by NUDGE, Wells Fargo Bank, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, and the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation. Employees from both NUDGE and Wells Fargo will be volunteering their time to help with construction at the project home.
