Habitat's Provo Mobile Tool Library has been well used over the last several weeks. The Library was used at neighborhood clean-ups in the Franklin and North Park neighborhoods and to clean up and install drip systems at Habitat's TyeRay Community Garden. And just last week, 85 local scouts borrowed the Mobile Library to work at the Provo's Franklin Neighborhood communal garden. The scouts learned techniques of hand tilling and composting, as well as how to facilitate in natural systems of organic gardening. They also learned team building skills as they moved heavy dead tree logs by hand, typically moved by bobcats and tractors, to create a log barrier along the north boarder of the garden. The Library is free to use for all Provo residents. Look on line at https://www.habitatuc.org/mobileToolLibrary.htm to schedule or for more information.
